NEUTRAL RAMMING MIXES |
|
| |
| This refractory mix is high alumina mix where in predominant aggregate
component of alumina imparts a strong skeleton aggregate structure of
superior uniform heat stability. The refractory mix is characterized by an
ability to withstand corrosive-errosive attack of molten metals and their
acids, semi basic and basic slags during repeated exposure thereto
together with excellent volume stability, superior structure heat stability,
low apparent porosity, a high contact angle with molten steel and
strong abrasion resistance Matrix. |
 |
|
|
| The refractory mix is produced by selecting specific fractions of alumina grains used in high performance refractories along with various Chrome compounds, combination of special clays, as tackifying agents are used,
which has good plasticity ,does not swell in water, stands high
temperature along with binder to increase strength of the lining
at elevated temperatures. Importance of bulk density is always considered and maintained for which
different fractions of components are used in the matrix. |
